Honda 1989 CR500

For Sale is a nice straight 1989 CR500. 

This bike was ridden by Ant Lyon from "ADB" in the Mr Vintage Motocross event Pre 90 category and he found the engine to be quite strong (Bike cleaned thoroughly since that event). The engine is solid with good compression (motor was rebuilt in the US). Has an FMF exhaust system fitted.  Forks have been serviced with new seals. Shock has been gassed and new rubber stopper added (No oil leaks Compression and Rebound function well). New brake pads, grips and water pump and oil seal.  The bike presents well and is able to be raced without too much further investment.  The only downer is the front wheel has a crack in it but currently is not displaced (photos highlight).  The rear is an Excel which was recently trued.

It is hard to find these kings of the pre 90 class and this is an opportunity to purchase a good rider.
